Via Kleinheider, these are the men who made it through the Republican Caucus’s vote today: David Lillard for State Treasurer, Tre Hargett for Secretary of State, and Justin Wilson for Comptroller.
I find this whole process foreign, considering these positions are either obsolete or subject to a statewide election in my home state of Georgia. Still, hooray? for the Republicans having the chance to practically pick these people for the positions. There was a minor controversy over who would be considered for these positions, but I guess we’re past this.
Huzzah for Tennessee politics.
