A one-act play about the Habs-Capitals series

by Katherine Miller on April 27, 2010

Katherine: Canada can go to hell.

Erin: Maple hater.

Katherine: How about Quebec? Can Quebec go to hell?

Erin: Really. You expect me to hate on Maxime Talbot’s land? How about just eff the Habs?

Katherine: If I knew nothing about hockey, and you told me someone named Maxime Talbot existed, I would assume that was the woman who founded Talbot’s. So yes. I do.

Erin: I’ll be sure to refer to him as Max in the future. Or, ‘my future husband’ if that helps with gender confusion.

Katherine: I still think he’s a girl.

Erin: Whatever, the Caps just have to be ready as I’m sure the crowd will be ready and they will be ready.

Katherine: If the Caps win by winning tomorrow, it would be inspirational because it would inspire me. Inspiring.

Erin: Viva la Canadia.
