The one big nit people picked with “Man Up” was the line, “By the way, fighting is hot. Don’t forget that” because I was encouraging violence and thuggery. Really, the line was added into the body copy as an afterthought because we’d been joking about an episode of How I Met Your Mother in the newspaper office. But, ha, now we have a way to test the hotness of fighting in quantifiable terms, America. The box office returns for this movie:
GAME ON. America loved Channing Tatum dancing. Channing Tatum fighting? Hmmmmmm?
