Tom Price craps on stimulus bill

by Mike Warren on February 13, 2009

Worth watching for the visual effect of seeing the stimulus in all its 8 1/2 x 12 inch glory. My old boss John Linder uses the same tactic when comparing the current U.S. tax code with his FairTax plan.

Price is from my home state of Georgia, and there is (of course) a Vanderbilt connection as well. I saw him when ESPN College GameDay came last fall for the Auburn game. He told me his son’s a freshman here, so there you go.

This video also continues my joy over Republicans using the Internet to connect directly with people. The Republican Study Committee, pretty much the conservative caucus of the House Republicans, has this on their YouTube channel. It’s a good start for more grassroots and popular involvement in figuring how awful this latest crap sandwich is, but they’re going to have to step up the publicity effort if they want to turn this around.

Tip o’ the hat to Allah.

Just great. Makes me livid. So….this is the “change” our new President was talking about. Man, the Obama brand of “silver” sure tarnishes quickly! What a joke. I was going to give the guy a year. I should probably thank him for not having to make me wait so long.
